Wow it’s been a hectic week in so much as I was unable to write.  The interview with Regis and Kelly was the first one up and of course a total of 6 minutes.  Some of the audience members called out “probe” and of course Mark just let it slide but a quite a number of us felt it was rude and already taking away from the interview as it was because…well Its Regis and Kelly.  They are not the most brilliant of the east coast interviewers.  A comment that Mark made had some concerned that he would be leaving LA once both Sean and Ty the youngest son would be in college. 

 

Tuesday I missed ET and it basically focused on Pauley Perrett’s appearance on NCIS: LA.  I did see NCIS and found it to be really good.  There was a case and of course kids and the holiday.  The discussions on the boards ranged from really good and fun to people criticizing the character assassinations of the people we have gotten to know.  There are those who feel that the characters need to grow or the show will loose out.  I haven’t had any problem with the characters this year and will continue to see how it progresses.

 

Apparently Thursday Mark was a mini feature on ET of course I was rather busy getting sick and sleeping off the migraine.  But it was just bits and pieces of recent interviews. 

 

I have checked out the NCIS Squad room – NCIS and they have had some pretty good discussions.  I am of the mind that some of them don’t like what’s going with the show and there is some that overall having no problem with it.

 

This coming week is a repeat with South by Southwest followed up by the anticipated Christmas Episode entitled “Faith”.  We get a visit from Papa Gibbs who is having some issues that are perplexing Gunny Gibbs.

Well hello everyone it is almost 9 and I am heading to bed after a long day that you can read about here. I checked out a few forums this one about the Good Day LA and the consensus there is pretty much the same as everywhere else.  Mark was great the hosts not so much.  There is some apprehension about tomorrow’s appearance because they are certain (and I agree) that it will be more of the same.  “How does it feel to be one of the Sexiest Men alive?” and probably about his marriage to Pam and how it is to work on the show (oh fair warning?) The phrase “the little engine that could” seems to be wearing thin with Mr. Harmon as he alluded to in the most recent interview.

Speaking of tomorrows’ appearance I have the VCR set up to tape the show.  It will be on the WFSB CBS affiliate out of Hartford but obviously they filmed it in Las Vegas. 

I am going to find some of the photos from the Episode Faith with Mark and Ralph Wait.  I would like to add them to the growing file I have for the show.

Hey everyone.  It is after 4:30 and quiet.  There is no NCIS marathon (unless I go on fancast.com or surfthechannels.com.  I might do that anyway.  I have been reading some of the fan fiction for NCIS.  I have to say its been pretty good

I am happy to know I am not alone in the thought the people interviewing Mark Harmon the other day were idiots.  Everyone enjoyed Mark but agreed that the interviewers left a lot to be desired.  Especially when they asked him about “The Sexiest Man alive Cover” that was nearly 26 years ago. 

 Hey Great news….just found out that Mark Harmon will be on Regis and Kelly on November 23, 2009.  I will set the VCR up to tape that one.  I see that his movies Wyatt Earp and the Presidio is on a few times next week as well.  There is a mini marathon on Friday from 6:30 to 11:30.

Happy Friday everyone! The 6th Season finale of NCIS is currently on USA as I write this. I think USA moved the “Never before Seen night to Friday while they spend the next several Wednesdays with a Dear Abby Marathon before the holidays begin. Pauley Perrette answered some questions I didn’t feel important. Apparently someone else on IMDB didn’t either. Apparently troll season opened up there as well. Some people have nothing better to do. Apparently they didn’t like the show. Several people there told him to change the channel. Hey people? IGNORE THEM. Don’t waste your time or energy on the crap. I had to put someone on ignore because he insisted on putting some sob story (personal to boot) on TV show message board. There have been previews for this Tuesday’s episode as well as the one for Christmas. Papa Gibbs (played by the talented Ralph Waite) comes to DC acting strange and Gibbs wonders why. Some people are wondering if he is sick or has a girlfriend. In some of the pictures it looks like Papa Gibbs is worried about something. My take on it is Jack had three things happen. 1) The beginning stages of Alzheimer’s, he lost the store, or is dying. That would really stink because I think Jethro Gibbs has been through a lot already. There is a video of Mark Harmon on Good Day LA news this morning that I am anxious to see. I am hoping this machine I am on will cooperate. Oh good it worked. It wasn’t long enough…the interviewers Omigod…what the hell were they on for Christsakes! I really can’t stand interviewers they just keep interrupting the person they are interviewing. Of course he looked great.

NCIS regained its top spot in the ratings last week so congratulations.  This week’s episode was very enjoyable and from the posts on the different boards first reaction was  good..now two days later confusion and annoyances.

The next episode which is the Thanksgiving episode will feature the current SecNav Mabius.  He will be a fellow NCIS agent.  it will be very cool about that.

I did manage to watch an entire episode of NCISLA and it wasn’t bad. 

Highly recommend some fanfiction writers that include General Kenobe over on livejournal.

Of “Freaky Friday”.  Mark Harmon was telling some guy who was telling him a scary story (about weddings) “don’t make me hurt you”.  That was too funny.  Unfortunately I couldn’t really watch the rest of it…It happenes to me a lot with my favorite actors…probably because I thought he was going to get his heart broken.

When I have to get defensive of the show. I almost bit my mother’s head off a little while ago when she told me that she read an article in the paper this morning indicating that CSI is the highest rated show across the country. she said it didn’t even mention NCIS. I explained to her that it this week its because of the three show/episode arc that was playing and that if she looks online at any nielson ratings article that for several weeks that NCIS was the number one show.

My point is if it hasn’t been then someone has been lying to the public or to the cast and crew of the show.

The character of Vance and whether or not they like him or not.  Now it has spilled over to the character of his wife.  Some feel that the Director shouldn’t be involved and that just doesn’t make sense to me.  The way I see it the Captains are involved and that’s the way it should be.

There is some discussions about more crossovers between NCIS Classic (Kudos to MW for that one) and the LA.  There is one more coming that I know of but I guess there might be more in the weeks ahead.

Oh and you might want to check out Mark Harmon’s IMDB and check out his schedule.  Several of his movies are on TV including The Presidio with Sean Connery, and Freaky Friday with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis.  I hope to see that one during the weekend.

sorry about not being on last night computer was uncooperative until late.  Anyhoo…last night’s  episode was pretty good.  it should Gibbs in an understanding and supportive light just like it did in Bad Cop Good Cop. 

It was very cute with Tim and the girl in the coffee shop.  I had no idea she was a kiler but it was good nonetheless.  There were mixed reactions to the episode.

Of Course ET had a segment on the Christmas episode (bar brawl) with DiNozzo.    I have come to expect at least a segment of sorts at least every week.
