Have a lot of catching up to do

I have so many letters to answer that I haven’t in a while.  Missy, in PA I can’t find her letter but it wasn’t a long one but I do know I can ask her about her time in Lititz.

I also have new pals to answer because a few of them sent me cards and such.

Incoming for week Ending 11/23/08

I received a wonderful letter from JOyce W in VA.  She was returning an FB that was made for me.  I will be quite busy for the next few days.  I have emailed/sent a letter to Jeanette Viers in California.  I beleieve she also stopped by my delphi forum.  I sent her another email as well (didn’t save it this time.)

I heard from Lisa in Texas…still trying ot organize her letters….I have heard from Susan H as well.  Apparently an owner or two of some groups turned over ownership to people and they had no idea.  One of them is prone to doing this in the past.

I mailed the letter to Missy in PA…I still have many that are waiting to be printed.

In coming for week ending 11/16/08

I received a unique intro letter from a girl named Missy in Columbia PA.  She lives near the famous Lincoln Highway (the one that goes across the country and was recently featured on a travelogue show on PBS).  I managed to print up an introduction and will mail it tomorrow. 

I have to admit this is the first of the long list of letters I mentioned in my previous entry unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to write until today.

I joined another pen pal group this time it belongs to Rhonda G from MO.  I just joined it today.

I am having a lot of fun writing weekly newsletters for all my groups and I have had some positive feedback from it as well.  it is my way of checking in and making sure I am still on the lists.

It has been a while

I haven’t sent out any of the letters I have on standby.  I haven’t had a whole lot of time.  I have been moving some emails to the journal section of my files.  I hope to spend some time this week printing up the letters since i actually bought stamps.

I did leave Tammi Hall’s list.  She continues to play games with the lists and takes an atitude that she is doing nothing wrong.

Channing A was being discussed on Addicted to Snailmail list. I voiced my opinion when several people were trying to guilt us for speaking badly of the disabled girl (apparently she has Asperger syndrome) and constantly begs for money, stamps, and gift cards and apparently stops writing when you don’t provide it for her. I am not putting up with people abusing the pen pal world. I also told someone if they don’t like what they are reading they have a choice delete or leave. As some of you might know I have made it ‘law’ that requests can’t include toiletries or stamps.

I did manage to write up a letter to a pen pal whom I haven’t written in nearly 9 years.  I don’t know if she will reply or not but that’s okay.

I did hear from Rhonda G in MO tonight she decided to leave some of groups because of personal reasons.  It was really great to hear from her.  I also asked another person why they were leaving the groups as well. 

Trying to catch up

Well I am sitting here going through the pen pal papers and trying to write letters to some of them.  I have one letter ready to be printed to Heather Hoffman but it needs to be on hold until two things.  The rest of the “cleaning out project is done and i get more stamps.

I have updated my “Letters to be written list to include Edna Gordon in NJ.  I will be sending an introduction to her.  I Hop she is interested.

There is one letter from 2005 here i got from a “dani” turning me down as pen pal because she had given it up in August  2005because she was getting married.  I can’t find her on any list.  That is so frustrating.

This past week

I received a wonderful letter from Heather H i NC.  I hope to be writing her this weekend.  I also signed up for a monthly newsletter from Tracey S.  I still need to send three dollars.

Been updating the files

I have spent a good amount of time updating some of the pen pal files.  Still working on Stacey Kennedy’s from NY.  I will be sending ehr a letter soo.

I heard from Nancy Mattingly in Washington State this week.  i hope to get her a letter soon.
