I really hate it

When I have to get defensive of the show. I almost bit my mother’s head off a little while ago when she told me that she read an article in the paper this morning indicating that CSI is the highest rated show across the country. she said it didn’t even mention NCIS. I explained to her that it this week its because of the three show/episode arc that was playing and that if she looks online at any nielson ratings article that for several weeks that NCIS was the number one show.

My point is if it hasn’t been then someone has been lying to the public or to the cast and crew of the show.

People are still talking about

The character of Vance and whether or not they like him or not.  Now it has spilled over to the character of his wife.  Some feel that the Director shouldn’t be involved and that just doesn’t make sense to me.  The way I see it the Captains are involved and that’s the way it should be.

There is some discussions about more crossovers between NCIS Classic (Kudos to MW for that one) and the LA.  There is one more coming that I know of but I guess there might be more in the weeks ahead.

Oh and you might want to check out Mark Harmon’s IMDB and check out his schedule.  Several of his movies are on TV including The Presidio with Sean Connery, and Freaky Friday with Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis.  I hope to see that one during the weekend.

couldn’t get on last night

sorry about not being on last night computer was uncooperative until late.  Anyhoo…last night’s  episode was pretty good.  it should Gibbs in an understanding and supportive light just like it did in Bad Cop Good Cop.

It was very cute with Tim and the girl in the coffee shop.  I had no idea she was a kiler but it was good nonetheless.  There were mixed reactions to the episode.

Of Course ET had a segment on the Christmas episode (bar brawl) with DiNozzo.    I have come to expect at least a segment of sorts at least every week.

In Honor of Veteran’s Day

There was a quesion in the Parade Magazine in regards to how many actors were/are in the armed forces.  He cited Charles Durning and the episode of NCIS he appeared in “Call of Silence” as one of his favorite episodes.  Don’t forget that on Veteran’s Day is a day long marathon of NCIS.

didn’t miss the marathon

Well I was able to get home in time from the football game tonight to catch all of the NCIS Marathon. Unfortunately I fell asleep through the last part of Heartland. I woke up to the part where Gibbs, Tony, and Ziva go to Winslow’s home and arrests Ned. I missed the part where Papa Gibbs gives LJ the car the first time. I read on one or two of the forums that we will get to see Papa Gibbs in the Christmas episode entitled Faith. I have no idea what the episode description is really about but it should be really good. We don’t get to see him before that though.

Word among the fandom is that we will get to meet Agent Anthony DiNozzo’s father in January. It will be for the 150th Episode. The role will be played by none other than Robert Wagner (Jonathan Hart in Hart to Hart). This has been a wish or hope in many of the message boards on the internet. The reason for this is because Michael Weatherly played Robert Wagner in the 2004 “The Mystery y of Natalie Wood”.

Wow the movie The Presidio (1988) is getting a lot of air time this week alone. It just started a few moments ago. It is on almost every day and twice on Sunday. I would love to be able to see it. I haven’t tried the local library yet but I will either that or blockbuster may have it.

NCIS will have another marathon on Veteran’s day and will air Broken Bird next Saturday. NCIS LA aired an earlier episode tonight. I think CBS is trying to get more viewers as well as fans to watch their network. USA has another marathon on September 19th starting at 1 pm eastern. I am not sure why but hey as long as it is on who cares? Well its time for me to go to bed…have a great one.

The TV schedule for NCIS and Mark Harmon

Well here the schedule for Mark Harmon movies and NCIS episodes:

November 6:

Natural Born Killers (3:50 am Eastern; Encore channel); unfortunately since we don’t get Encore (we would probably have to pay for it) I won’t be seeing this.  However, someone suggested that I try the local library to see if they have it.  I may even try blockbuster Video because they have a number of Mark’s Movies.

NCIS (5 am Sleuth Channel) we don’t have this channel on our cable package.  I think it’s only on AT&T Uverse.   I don’t know if it is on any other cable system.  However even if it were I doubt I would get up that early to watch it.  It is from season 2 episode #4 “LT. Jane Doe”.

Wyatt Earp (3:30 AM Eastern AMCHD & 3:30 PM AMC) -We do have AMC but we don’t have the HD version (see above).  I have seen this before.  I can’t that day because well I am going to be at work.

NCIS (4 pm Sleuth Channel) see above.  This will be from Season 2 episode #5.  It will be on again Saturday.

NCIS mini marathon (5-9 USA and USAHD) starts off with the 4th season (Gibbs returns from retirement) then goes back to season 1 episode 15 which Gibbs tries to help his former CO from the Gulf war and finishes the night with “Doppelganger” from season 2.

November 7:

NCIS (5 am Sleuth Channel) see above for Sleuth Channel.

The NCIS Saturday marathon (USA & USAHD) starts at 4 pm with season 3’s Jeopardy (Ziva is a suspect in the death of a drug dealer who dies in her custody and the Director is held hostage by the brother of dead drug dealer.  Then subsequently the episodes skip to 5th Season’s Identity Crisis and In the Zone.  The last four hours are season six first four episodes.

The Presidio airs on ACMaxHD and ACMax at 11:40 pm.  I think this is the Action Cinemax channels.  We used to get Cinemax but no longer.

November 8:

The Last Supper airs on STZEHD and STZE at 4 pm.  I have never seen it but it is supposed to be very good.  Of course I don’t have those channels either… (Do you see a pattern here?)

November 9:

NCIS is on USA 5-9 pm.  For some reason IMDB only listed two episodes under his tv schedule.

The Presidio will air on 5MAXHD & 5Max at 9 pm.  It must be another level of Cinemax TV.

Last night’s Episode

Well I had to miss last night’s episode as I spent the last few hours of election night 2009 at the headquarters.  My friend CTJoyce and I kept saying through out the hour “we should go home and watched NCIS.  I really wish I had gone home by 7:30.

When I got home it was 9 so I watched a little of NCIS LA.  It was okay.  I really didn’t get into it much I was stunned by real life.  Anyway back to NCIS.

I am getting the impression that many enjoyed the episode.  Apparently a character from season three (guest character) returned in this episode.   I am hoping that CBS has posted the video by now.

Someone was kind enough to post an edited transcript of the Michael Weatherly chat that was on TV.com.  You could probably find it at TV.com as well.

I checked ETonline.com to see if there were previews or a segment as there usually is but tonight was only NCIS LA. (Drats)

Tonight is regular Wednesday with the new episodes from season 6.  I can’t remember the ones they have for tonight.  I will look and post later.

Oh there are a couple more marathons this coming week of course I will make a separate list later….

Blackout

Power down is the newest episode that’s being discussed(airing on November 17).  some are already getting annoyed its going to be about Ziva (she gets stuck in the Elevator with a Major Male character). They are trying to figure out who she is with.

I got replies from My  posts regarding the movie that was on TNT yesterday with Mark Harmon (Crossfire Trails”).  As of right now it isn’t airing again for a while…bummer.  Presidio and Natural Born Killers will be but alas we don’t have those cable channels on our system.

I had a really cool experience

It was nearly or after 7 or so and I turned on the TV to the TNT channel and what did I see but Mark Harmon (as the “villian” in Louis LaMour’s Coventry Trail.  Actually I think I got the title wrong but he worked with Tom Selleck and he was just too cool.  Now I didn’t get to see all of it because I was also trying to get ready for the morning.  His character was really swarmy and greedy but he was so good.  The movie was made in 2001.
